Kingfish to host 4th Annual Huey P. Long Look-a- Like Contest
WHAT: Kingfish Kitchen and Cocktails honors the life of it’s namesake, Huey P. Long, with its annual birthday party and look-a- like contest. Guests are encouraged to don their seersucker while toasting the Kingfish with a Ramos Gin Fizz, made famous by Long who employed his own personal mixologist. The winner of the look-a- like contest will be treated like royalty with a complimentary meal from Kingfish each month for a year.
Chef Nathan Richard and actor/radio personality Spud McConnell will kick off the party in New Orleans style with a second line parade led by the Uptown Strutters. Expert bartender Justin Gerhmann will be pouring cocktails and Chef Nathan will offer “Lil’ Eats” from his authentic Cajun menu until 6:30pm. Happy hour runs from 3:30PM until 6PM. Birthday cake will also be served.
